Tactical Emergency Casualty Care
TECC uses lessons learned from the military and applies them to the civilian world of tactical medicine. This 16-hour, 2-day course covers topics designed to decrease preventable death in the tactical situation. Certification for this course is provided through NAEMT. Successful completion of this course comes with a 4 year certification and counts for 16-Hours of CAPCE continuing education.
K9 TECC
This all-hazards training program sets the K9 Handler and Tactical Medical Provider up for success when dealing with an injured K9. The K9 Handler will learn to provide emergent medical care to the K9 from the point of injury to veterinary care. The program will also stress the integration of Tactical Medical Providers to complete the K9 care team. Challenging scenarios, evidence-based medicine, preparation best practices, and teamwork will build the foundation that will save not only your partner but best friends life.
LEO TECC
TECC for Law Enforcement Officers and First Responders (TECC-LEO): An 8-hour classroom course designed for law enforcement officers and non-EMS first responders. The course covers materials in the 16-hour TECC provider course at a level appropriate for first responders. It includes 8 hours of content, which includes interactive lectures, skill stations, and patient simulations. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as a TECC-LEO provider for four years, and 8 hours of CAPCE credit for qualified participants.
Active Shooter Series
Active Shooter: Rescue Task Force is a Multi-agency training program designed to develop, refine, and produce successful rescue task force teams across the state, multi-agencies, and emergency services. By bridging the gap, we unite all agencies as one team, one fight. Students will learn tactics and concepts to prepare for active shooter events, acts of violence, and other mass casualty incidents. We use lessons learned from our military, and apply them to the civilian world of tactical medicine.
CPR / AED / First Aid
Our First Aid/CPR/AED program is developed to help businesses and our community recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. The skills and knowledge learned in this course can make a difference and help save a life. Students who successfully pass will earn a Course Completion Card valid for two years.
Tactical Breacher Series
Our Tactical Breacher Series combines Military Master Breacher and Fire Service Forcible Entry. Teams will start in the classroom learning tactics, techniques, building construction, tool selection, and dynamic entries. Students will then proceed to the Hands-on Training portion. The purpose of this course is to gain knowledge, as well as tactical and technical proficiency on breaching techniques.
